Emily Buller, DDS, MS
Dr. Emily grew up in Baton Rouge attending Bishop Sullivan high school. Her family however has local roots with her father living in Eunice as a child and her stepfather being from Ville Platte. After high school, Dr. Emily earned a degree in Biological Engineering from LSU and worked as a process engineer for Proctor and Gamble before returning to post-graduate school to receive a Master’s degree in Biological Engineering from LSU just before entering the LSU dental school in New Orleans. During her time in Dental School Dr. Emily was recognized by The Academy of Dental Materials, American Dental Association Dentsply Student Clinician Research Program, Hinman Student Research Symposium, The International Association of Student Clinicians, and William F. Schmidt DDS Memorial Achievement Award for her research on dental materials.
While in New Orleans, she met her future husband, Dr. Ryan Buller. The couple was married at Our Lady Queen of All Saint’s Church immediately after graduation, and they moved to Ville Platte with Dr. Emily’s three dogs. Dr. Emily then began working for Dr. Prentiss Perkins in Mamou and would transition to the owner after a couple of years of working as his associate. Dr. Emily’s main passion is dentistry with a focus on seeing children and cosmetics. Soon after she became owner, Dr. Emily and Dr. Ryan became pregnant with their first child Magdalene, followed by their second child Gemma born a year later. Now they have a third little girl, Zelie!
